The filetype they use changes though, so it can be a bit confusing Razz

I always just play it using vlc media player. Though I mostly just watch it of youtube if I'm ever up for watching an episode. Although I do agree they should at least make a .avi or .mp4 file extension for it.

Definately. Half of the episodes I have from them are .mp4 and the other half are .mkv
It would be nice if they would have one of each, or just switch to .mp4, the .mkv's are a bit glitchy

I personally use .MKV files. They don't work on my Adobe Premiere Pro, but it does work on WMV. I seem to make more proffesional videos ON WMV than Adobe so I use MKV for most of my videos now.

I guess I just need to look through menus and stuff to find how to make it work. Until then I'll continue to watch the .mkv's on VLC

This is tangential, but you may not have the Windows Media Player codecs for .mkv.

It could also depend on how the encoded the audio. Windows Media has this odd habit/design flaw of failing to play the media at all when it can't process the sound.

The episodes should be on Itunes if you want them that way.

Pony Archives and Derpy Hooves are the places I go.

Personally I think the tunes MKV rips played on VLC look great.
