Could Equestria be an Alternate Universe?

I am curious as to how many people believe in multiple universes/alternate timelines and dimensions, and would Equestria be one of them.

I wish Equestria was real. It's the most peaceful land in the world <3

I do somewhat believe in multiple dimensions. Not enough to study them or really try and learn about them. But if they had Equestria and there was a way to turn me into a pony and transport me over there I would do it in a heart beat.

If I was ever turned into a pony and transported to Equestria I'd worry that I would be a corrupting influence on their social ecosystem due to my American world view and pop cultural leanings. They don;t seem to have much theft or murder or real vices at all and as a modern person I doubt very much I could conform to their standards of behavior.

I believe the universe is so large the sheer size would overload our brains if we understood. And on top of that there are alternate universes. Only in the infinite of everything there will be a version of everything you can think of no matter how far from reach it is.

I think if I was turned into a pony moved into Equestria I'd be a very bad influence. I might even go to the moon for 1000 years.

I would think so, we just need to work out multidimensional travel, and my guess is that when you travel to another universe, you turn into that form (i.e. you go into a cartoon character, you become cartoon-esque)

The only thing is I think universes would be so far even a spacial distortion device, such a thing ever come, desired results and locations would be far from reach. It'd be like going to mars in a moon intended ship.

Ever since seeing the Star Trek Next Generation episode where Wesley and the Traveler move mentally from one plane of existence to another I've often thought that would be the preferred method to get to some other dimension/universe as the technology to build a faster than light starship will take an absurdly long time.

Faster than light would never work if you ask me. The inplausubility of the universe spawning in the desired time, or even reality, is slim. Like I said if you ask me the only possibility is in thousands of years when/if we invent something that can distort space and poke a "worm hole" to temporarily travel through. Guess that would be like star trek. Though I think such a device would be unstable and fail. If it wasn't wouldn't another species from another dimension be here?

I would love to be teleported to equestria and be transformed into a pony.
But I think, like my comrades have stated above; I would be a bad influence with my british alcohol and tea obsessions. I think I would also feel strange without technology.

Who knows? For all we know there could be somepony reading a "Could Earth be an Alternate Universe?" thread at this very instant.

I really hate to think somepony watching me as an entertainment option, That would be deathly boring.

Oh man, if it was me watching grass grow might be more fun. My life if bland with swimming and inside jokes thrown in there. That is on the school year. I might make a decent travel show...

i like to think my life would be fairly interesting in a Seinfeld kind of way..........a show about nothing brilliant.
