As Shimmer was walking around, she saw Carrot standing there looking sad. Alerted, she ran over. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?"

Star sighed "It was pretty sudden, even for them I think... I'm sorry that I couldn't convince them to stay and at least say bye..."

as I walked out of the forest not only did I notice that the tiny alligators were following me, but I also noticed the group of ponies all looking sad except for the one giving out hugs, she was oddly out of place in the scene..... I decided to walk up and find out what happened....... ah so your friends left that is indeed sad, I wouldn’t know as I’ve never been much of a friend maker.

"VANILLA!" She screeched.

Shimmer noticed that the sun was setting. "Darn." She thought to herself. "I guess it's time to get ready for bed."

She pulled out some daises with her mouth to save for a bedtime snack. She headed into her house and shut the door.

Star hadn't wanted to go back to the house, too many memories. It was time to let the past go. It was certain that he wouldn't impose on anypony, so he wasn't going to ask for housing... but, where can I go now, he thought to himself.

Before embarking on a futile endeavor Star took an upward glance, which quickly developed into a melodramatic gaze. The stars and the moon seemed to shine brighter than ever to him this night. He found many well known constellations deeply embarked on an emotional journey.

As he contemplated he began to realize things, small things at first. His past, the ridicule, it meant nothing because he was glad who he was.

The fights with his friends meant nothing, they made up and that was what mattered.

His whole life, spent worried about what other ponies would think of him. It was time for a change. Star decided to stop suppressing himself in concern of others. He would be brave and talk.

Step one, go talk to Carrot Top and ask to use a house until he goes out to make one of his preference. There were still plenty of buildings available after all.

Trotting to Carrot Top's house he seemed changed. What seemed an hour of deep thought had given him courage. Star knocked at the door, not a slouch in his back, head held high with pride, legs straight and strong. Even his fur seemed neater without the ruffled patterns of worry. It was almost like he was reborn; his smile softly yet confidently waited to greet Carrot Top.

Star noticed the gators and briefly interrupted. "Uhh, excuse me, I was about to ask about borrowing a house" He laughed softly and smiled at the creatures of interest.

Vanilla had flown to the island herself. "Hi, Prism."
